Web design

Eagles Consulting, Inc. has been privileged to assist in the redesign of the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library & Museum web site.

In the summer of 2004 the Gerald R. Ford Library and Museum website began to undergo a total visual re-work under the direction of archivist Bill McNitt and the Library and Museum staff. Working in conjunction with Ford family friend and former White House staff member Bill Brockett, of foto-grafics.com in Kalispell, Montana, the new site was produced in stages due to the extremely large number of pages on the site.

The new site was produced as a gift from foto-grafics.com and Eagles Consulting to President and Mrs. Ford and to the National Archives and Records Administration. The site was reviewed by the NARA staff in Washington and "exceeded the government's benchmarks in the five key elements: content, functionality, look and feel, navigation, and site performance."

2006 Webby Official Honoree The Webby Awards is one of the leading international award honoring excellence in Web design, functionality and creativity. The Webbys are presented by The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, a 500-member body of leading web experts, business figures, luminaries, visionaries and creative celebrities.

OFFICIAL HONOREE: As a result of the superior quantity and quality of sites entered, the 10th Annual Webby Awards awarded the new site for the Gerald R. Ford Library and Museum for meeting their standard of excellence.

Of the more than 8,000 entries submitted to the 10th Annual Webby Awards, fewer than 15% were distinguised as an Official Honoree.
