Client: Energy Aware Organization
Project: Design of new site.

Project scope: The mission of Energy Aware Organization is to increase understanding of renewable energy through education and a public forum and a RV tour of America in a motor home powered by biodiesel and solar energy stopping at several energy/environmental fairs and renewable energy facilities across the country.
Design components: New site design consisting of all graphics including the menu, image design and site layout.
Database components: The site includes extensive use of RSS feeds driven from database. Each feed is specific to the site pages so the topic is related to the page information, so the solar energy page has feeds related to solar energy. The site also includes a wiki and forum, allowing the site's users to post information and initiate discussions relevant to the energy topics and uses our in-house shopping cart to make EAO items like t-shirts available for sale. Sponsors can also advertise with the site selecting either incolumn ads or a banner ad for a specific page.
Graphic editors: Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Programming languages: VB Script, Active Server Pages, JavaScript, DHTML and HTML.
