Q. How do I view a house I drove by?
A. Note the web number when you first find a rental that you like. Go to www.IdahoRentsIt.com and select “Rental Search”. Select “Advanced Search” and type in the number under “Listing Number”. If you don't have the web number, try to narrow your search as much as possible.

Q. How do I narrow my criteria?
A. Under “Rental Search” select “Advanced Search”. This will then allow you to select many options for your search.

Q. How do I contact the landlord?
A. Each listing will have a contact phone number and/or email address. You can contact the person directly by the phone number given or email them if that option is available.

Q. How do I list a property?
A. Select the List a Property button. You will need to login before that you begin entering in your information. A password is necessary so that no one can tamper with your information. Follow the 7 easy steps to list your property. You can read the How it All Works instructions before you begin.

Q. How much does it cost to list a property?
A. Our prices range from $19.95 per month to $99.99 per month. View our pricing plan for details.

Q. How do I pay for a listing?
A. You can create an account, which will bill your credit card after each listing is placed. If you have concerns about entering your credit card online you can phone in your credit or debit card information, or mail in a money order. Your listing will be held until we receive the money order.

Q. How do I view and manage my listings?
A. Select My Listings and login to view your listing information. You can then modify and delete your listings. If you want information about your billing information select My Account.

Q. How can I save my listings?
A. All of your listings can be saved for future postings. Go to “My Listings” or “Current Listings” and select the listing you would like to save. Select “Remove/Save Listing”. This is very convenient when you have multiple properties that will need to be posted again in the future. Once you enter your data once you only need to hit a button to get your property listed again. You can modify and delete your saved listings at anytime.

Q. What if I forget my password?
A. Select Forgot Your Password? from the login page. IdahoRentsIt.com will email you your password.

Q. How do I send photographs?
A. During the listing process you will be given the option of uploading digital photographs right then and there. By selecting the browse button you can then search for your photograph on your own computer. Select “Go” to copy the file onto our server. Once it is uploaded you can click on the image you would like to use. All of your images will be saved in your directory.

If you aren’t up to speed in the digital world you can mail in your photographs and we will scan them for you.

Q. What are the photograph specifications?
A. We ask that your photographs be at a low resolution and in a standard rectangular format. A high resolution photo will take a lot of time for renters to view as well as print.

Q. How do I change my listing after it's placed?
A. Select “My Listings” and login or “My Account” then “Current Listings”. You can then edit, extend, remove, or add a new listing.

Q. How do I extend my listing after it's placed?
A. Select “My Listings” and login or “My Account” then “Current Listings”. You can then edit, extend, remove, or add a new listing.

Q. How do I delete my listing after it's placed?
A. Select “My Listings” and login or “My Account” then “Current Listings”. You can then edit, extend, remove, or add a new listing.

Q. When will my listing be posted?
A. If you pay immediately through your account your listing will be posted by the next business day. If you opt to call in your credit card information or mail in a money order, your listing will be posted once payment is received.

Q. Do I get a refund if my property rents before the end of my listing?
A. No, but if you accidentally place an ad and would like it to be removed please contact us within 24 hours and we will give you a refund.
